A.M. LIGHTS by SCOTT SMITH – RELEASED FEBRUARY 18, 2018 – It’s early, a flashing red light illuminates the street. It’s morning, yet it’s dark and you’re still out walking past the glowing street lamps by yourself. A neon sign behind you stays lit and another one just ahead goes off on your way back home. Appearing like ghostly images relationships with faces take their place in your mind and you start thinking and remembering while you walk on – realizing… “yup… man…” – You wonder. This song is for you and me – it’s about us.
A.M. Lights – when you’re reflecting and thinking about what you could have or should’ve said at the time, but didn’t. The message this song is conveying is that there is still time to say and do those things. Think about it… the Sun is not up yet. We are all in this life together. Through these a.m. lights, I see you.
